Welcome
The
Abbey Hotel has earned a reputation
for having small hotel charm and big hotel
standards. The staff at the Abbey Hotel
makes especially sure that they can meet all
your needs with haste and efficiency. With
such professional staff you can be sure of a
restful stay.
Convenient to both Lansdowne Road and to
Croke Park by taxi you will not be
disappointed with this excellent location.
Many guests will find themselves drawn back
to the Abbey to avail of the unique
atmosphere and warm reception of what can
only be called the most convenient hotel in
Dublin.
***Please Note*** The hotel has a
very busy bar and nightclub which operates 7
nights a week. As a result of this guests
may experience noise late at night or into
the early hours of the morning. This
property might not be the best option for
families with children due to the nightclub
noise. |

| This hotel was very
central, very clean & quiet, bed was gorgeous!!
Had a great nights sleep, first time ever in a
hotel....the shower was great too, first time I'd
ever seen a shower with a proper shower hose so I
could wash my hair without having to have a full
shower or visa versa I could have a shower without
having to ruin my hair. Its the little things that
count! :) Overall, bearing in mind it is a two star
hotel, I was very impressed with this hotel in terms
of location and comfort...I will definately be
returning, and will recommend it to other also. It
was great value too. |

| As cheap as we could
find, but surprisingly decent. Loud one night on the
weekends, and no a/c so we needed a window, but the
hearty breakfast food (provided!) and clean rooms
and bathrooms and central location were all
positive. |

| The location was
brilliant, right beside O'Connell St and Temple Bar
District. The receptionists were very helpful. There
was a hole in the roof of the breakfast room. The TV
was not working properly and the noisy LUAS tram ran
on the road of the hotel so best to ask for back
room instead of front room, although views of the
activities in the street were very enjoyable. If I
had not rung to confirm everything was alright a few
days before, I would have ended up with a double
instead of twin room. The hotel is a bit run down
but good value for money. |
